The Renewable Energy Society at Nottingham University is a student-led group who promote all forms of renewable energy. I was asked to provide an interactive workshop for this group and so offered my DIY solar phone charger activity. I provided all materials and the participants built a small phone charger with 2Wp of solar panels and a small battery pack.

The workshop was fully booked with 20 participants. Each one went home with a solar phone charger.

This workshop has also been run at Nottingham Hackspace.

Please contact us if you would like Re-Innovation to help with your project or provide a training course.
