I have needed to post a number of kits in the last couple of weeks. With the new pricing policy from Royal Mail, I needed to make sure that I was correctly paying for the mail.
In the post office they have a plastic tool to check the size of packages (mainly for ‘Letter’ and ‘Large Letter’ status). I wanted to check my packages before trekking to the post office, so I quickly made this post size guide. I already have a digital scale so I can check size and weight.
This was built using some scrap 3mm acrylic sheet and the laser cutter at Nottingham Hackspace. Its worked pretty well. Please feel free to download the files and make one yourself.
